The subcontractors we have chosen have grown accustomed to us asking a bit more of them than others do. We are fortunate to have subcontractors that are willing to give that extra effort to help us separate ourselves from the "standard".
Building a new custom home offers opportunities to incorporate special features to accommodate special needs. By incorporating features during design and construction they are much less expensive than retro-fitting a home that is already built.
